I have worked in TV & Film for 20 odd years in different guises, from being a guest greeter at TV AM to working for Producers Nick Barton & Suzanne Mackie at ABTV & Harbour Pictures on documentaries and films including: Calendar Girls & Kinky Boots....after retraining as an upholsterer in 2004-2009 and winning an upholstery award from the AMUSF,  I founded The London Chair Collective in 2009 and upholstered for a while, taking part in various exhibitions across the land. I did a spot of Hippo wrangling in between and then fell into the hands of a certain Miss Jane Brodie, Art Director extraordinaire, whilst working on Swallows & Amazons.....the rest, as they say, is History!  I've since worked with Jane and Set Decorator’s Charlotte Dirickx , Jo Stuart-Fox , Tanya Bowd, Laura Iwanyckyj making things; drapery, upholstery, soft furnishings, with a good dollop of dying, scalpelling and a spot of light plastering work.....I am if nothing else....curious and flexible !
